Hi to my Scott Paper friends:

 

I have been in communication with Mike Masseth at Kimberly-Clark.  He is available and will give us our annual update on the state of business at K-C on Tuesday, May 30.  Because Waynesborough is closed that day and Aronimink is rebuilding their clubhouse, I have booked a new venue.  It is at the Chester Valley Golf Course at 430 Swedesford Road in Malvern, PA.  As usual, the lunch will start with a social period from 11:00 AM until 12:15 PM when we will be served lunch.  I am indebted to Dan Herring, one of our former "Scotties" who is a member of the club for arranging the meeting.  I suggest that you mark the date in your calendar if you think you will attend.  I will send a more formal invitation in the near future and will then ask you to tell me if you plan to attend.

 

I attended a function at the Chester Valley Golf Club late last fall and can report that they have a beautiful facility.  The clubhouse was recently rebuilt and upgraded when they hosted a PGA golf event.

 

I have also booked our fall luncheon already.  We will meet at Waynesborough Country Club for that meeting and it will be held on Thursday, October 12.  Please also mark your calendar with that date.

 

I will be compiling my Spring edition of the Scott Alumni Newsletter in the near future.  I would appreciate receiving any news you would like to have included in the piece.  A suggestion was recently made to me to include a few anecdotes regarding past experiences you had when actually working at Scott.  If you think you have a short anecdote that would be of broad interest, I would welcome having you send it to me for inclusion in the Newsletter.
