Fall Luncheon 2005

The fall luncheon meeting of the Scott Paper Co. Alumni Group will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the Aronimink Golf Club, located on St. David’s Road in Newtown Square, PA.  Driving instructions are provided below.  Aronimink dress code requires men to wear jackets.  A cash bar reception will begin at 11:15 AM, with lunch served at 12:15 PM. 

 

This meeting will not include a speaker, so it will provide an excellent opportunity for you to meet with and catch up on the activities of many of your Scott friends.

 

If you plan to attend, please send me your reservation via the US Post Office addressed to ME at the address below with your check for $30.00 enclosed.  I have done away with the return form for email recipients.  Simply mark your check “Scott Luncheon” on the memo line. Your check will serve as your reservation.  If you cannot attend this time, please send me an email with your regrets.

 

The cost of the lunch is $30.00.  This is for a full meal with an appetizer salad, bread and butter, chicken Francaise main course with two vegetables, and coffee/tea and dessert.  Therefore it is much like a restaurant dinner meal.

 

Please tell me of any recent deaths among our group beyond those I have reported  by email or that I noted in my Spring 2005 - Scott Alumni Newsletter.  Also, please tell me by email if your address or other contact information has changed.

To Aronimink Golf Club from Newtown Square – intersection of Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Route 252:

 

·         Route 252 North (toward Paoli)

·         Continue on 252 North after traffic light (Goshen Road) until 252 curves left (approximately ¼-mile after passing Goshen Road)

·         Leave 252 as it curves left and continue straight ahead to St. David’s Road – Stop sign – about 500-feet

·         Turn right on St. David’s Road

·        Aronimink Golf Club is on the right, about ¼-mile after you turn onto St. David’s Road
