Scott Technology Golf and Dinner 2007 Invitation

Hello Scotties,

The Scott Technology Golf and Dinner Outing ("Annual Chainsaw Tournament") will be at the Kimberton Golf Club near Phoenixville PA on Wednesday 3 October 2007.  Everything will be very similar to last year.  The prices are the same as last year.

This event is open to all Scott Paper Alumni (from all locations) and their spouses.  If you have a group you like to golf with, you are welcome to bring them also.  Please RSVP to Judy Carey (see contact info below).

This is a golf and dinner event.  You can do either or both.

The complete package, golf and dinner, is $65 per person.  This will cover greens fees, 2 golf carts per foursome, coffee and donuts in the morning, beer and soda and water served on the course, plus cash prizes.  Lunch can be purchased separately from the club house.  Dinner will be served afterward at the clubhouse (with a cash bar).  Prizes will be distributed during or after dinner (only golfers will be eligible to win prizes).

For golfing only, no dinner, the cost is $45 per person.

For dinner only, no golfing, the cost is $20 per person.

For the combination, golf and dinner, the cost is $65 per person.

Please make sure that you send your check so that it arrives at least 2 weeks before the event (by 19 September at the latest).  Please include a note with all of the names of the people in your party, how many are golfing and how many are staying for dinner.  If you also include an email address in your note, then we can send you a confirmation that your check was received.

The Kimberton Golf Club is located northwest of Phoenixville PA on Route 23.  You can get driving directions from their website, www.KimbertonGolfClub.com, or by calling 610-933-8836.  If using MapQuest or Google Maps, the physical address is "162 Ridge Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460".

Golf will begin with a 10:30am modified shotgun start, and will probably finish by 3pm.  Please arrive by 10:00am.  Scores will be computed (Callaway system) by Bob Avis and prizes will be awarded in various categories.

Dinner will begin approximately at 4:00pm or 4:30pm.  We will have a cash bar.

All funds remaining, after expenses and tips have been paid, will be distributed to the golfers in the form of cash prizes.
