Embossing Technologies was founded in 1996 by Carl Ingalls, an embossing specialist (see Specialist).  The company provides the technical know-how for embossing, with emphasis on the tissue paper industry.  Areas of embossing expertise include:

• Manufacturing and converting process development, support, and optimization
• Product development and testing
• Custom pattern design for new or improved products
• Rapid prototypes of samples embossed with new patterns
• Performance evaluation of embossing patterns
• Expert witness for embossing pattern patents and other issues
• Seminars, presentations, and training

Clients are typically small or medium sized manufacturers or converters that produce bath tissue, paper towel, paper napkin, and/or facial tissue.  Most of them are located in North America (USA, Canada, and Mexico).  Client identity is usually treated as confidential information.
